Job summary

Jacobs’ Transportation team in Texas is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training to support traffic analyses and design for municipal, state, and federal clients. You will collect data, perform analyses, and prepare technical reports using software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads, Synchro, and Vissim.

The role emphasizes collaboration across project teams, strong communication with clients, and the opportunity to grow within a hybrid work model across San Antonio, Austin, or Houston

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in transportation.
Interest in Traffic and transportation engineering.

Responsibilities

Support analyses and design efforts for municipal, state, and federal clients.
Perform data collection, reporting analyses, and prepare technical reports.
Use design and traffic software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads, Synchro, Vissim).
Research design options and document findings for project engineers/managers.
Assist with duties assigned by project engineers/managers.
Maintain effective communication with team members and clients.
