Job summary

Jacobs is seeking Transportation/Civil Engineering Interns to work on large-scale infrastructure projects, including highway design. You will collaborate with Professional Engineers and Project Managers to develop bold solutions for everyday living.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Civil or Transportation Engineering and have knowledge of CADD/Design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred). The role offers a hybrid working policy with office/remote locations.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree seeking program in Civil or Transportation Engineering or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D).

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic highway/roadway geometric design calculations
• Help prepare technical reports and design documentation
• Utilizing CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and/or models to communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedures
• Familiarize with local, state, and federal design standards and requirements
