Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and design of transportation facilities as part of the transportation design team.
• Learn and apply CAD skills in daily tasks.
• Conduct traffic analysis and data collection to support projects.
• Perform survey activities and site inspections during construction.
• Support construction inspection and documentation efforts.

About the role, Your Impact

Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Transportation Intern in our Bannockburn, Chicago O’Hare, Crystal Lake, Naperville, or Mokena, IL offices. This on-the-job experience will support the firm’s transportation department with the planning and design of a variety of transportation facilities and offer the opportunity to work within a transportation design team.

Compensation -The hourly pay for this role is $23.00. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.”
