Tighe & Bond, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Co-op in Westwood, MA or Woburn, MA to support roadway and intersection design, cost estimation, and field observations.

You will work with a collaborative team on Northeast infrastructure projects and gain exposure to multi-modal transportation challenges. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or related degree
• Coursework or experience related to roadway design or traffic studies or other related coursework and experience
• Strong interest in transportation engineering, roadway design, or traffic analysis
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness

Responsibilities

• Assist in roadway and intersection design, including traffic control and signage
• Help prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimate
• Participate in field visits and construction observations
• Use design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation to support plan development
