Qualifications

• 2 years of drafting/design experience for Tech II; Tech I requires no experience.
• Substitutions allowed: related college education or training on a year-for-year basis.
• Mandatory: Valid driver’s license and Safety Impact Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic design work.
• Prepares field notes.
• Prepares quantity summaries, hydraulic and utility studies and right-of-way maps.
• Prepares roadway design, traffic control, lighting, signal, and building plans.
• Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
