Job summary

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of civil, structural, geotechnical, or transportation engineering.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret engineering plans, specifications, manuals, and technical data.
  • Ability to document engineering activities through reports, calculations, and records.
  • Proficiency with engineering software and digital tools for design, analysis, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review design documents, plans, specs, and cost estimates for design projects (PS&Es).
  • Interpret policies, manuals, and reports to support project delivery documentation.
  • Conduct quality reviews of own work and incorporate reviewer comments.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Soils, Hydraulics, Bridge, Traffic, and other offices for data.
