Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Transportation Civil Engineer IV to join our DOT/Tribal Design team in Western Washington. The role involves roadway design, stormwater infrastructure, project management, and client engagement.

You may join our Puyallup, Seattle, or Silverdale offices with a hybrid schedule, coming in for teamwork and client collaboration. The ideal candidate has a BSCE, 7+ years’ experience, and a PE license, with proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, and stormwater modeling.

Qualifications

• BSCE in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in transportation projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience working with WSDOT, Tribes, or local agencies.
• Experience supervising engineering staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support the design and delivery of transportation projects, focusing on roadway, grading, stormwater and drainage.
• Lead and/or support the preparation of complete PS&E packages.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients through the project lifecycle to incorporate feedback and resolve design challenges.
• Perform QA/QC for engineering deliverables.
