Parametrix is seeking a Transportation Civil Engineer I‑II to join our Seattle area team. The role supports transportation design with hybrid work options (2–3 days in office per week) and collaboration with engineers and project teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in civil engineering, 1+ year of transportation experience, and an EIT or ability to obtain within a year. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Civil 3D or MicroStation are preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of transportation engineering or related experience.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the design of transportation infrastructure for cities and counties throughout the Puget Sound Region.
• Assist in the development of roadway plans, profiles, and cross sections using industry‑standard design software.
• Assist in the development of engineering documents such as plans, estimates, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and other disciplines.
• Contribute to roadway design elements such as horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage, traffic control plans, and ADA‑compliant pedestrian facilities.
