Transportation Engineer / Project Manager - Columbus, OH

Salary Range: $70K - $130K | Permanent Position with Benefits

Busy engineering firm seeks an experienced Transportation Engineer capable of working on municipal roadways, roundabouts, trails, heavy highway projects, safety studies, green and complete street designs, and more for ODOT, LPA, and Non-LPA clients across Ohio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) License (Preferred but not required)
• 2-12 years of experience
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research, analyze data, and prepare plans for innovative design solutions
• Perform field reviews to identify opportunities and constraints
• Collaborate with senior staff to create CAD designs and visual exhibits
• Provide cost estimates, documentation, and quality checks
• Make recommendations demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills
• Build professional connections through client meetings and networking
