Job description

Transportation Engineer 3/Roadway Hydraulic Engineer, Office of Hydraulic Engineering, PN 20049529

This position serves as a subject matter expert in hydraulic engineering, providing customer support for consultants and ODOT districts, participating in development of design policies and specifications, serving on research panels, and performing hydraulic plan reviews. Prior experience with OpenRoads Designer and Utilities is a plus.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Serving as a hydraulic engineering expert for support and consultation.
  2. Developing hydraulic design policies and construction standards.
  3. Participating in research panels.
  4. Reviewing hydraulic plans.
  5. Utilizing OpenRoads Designer and Utilities.

Qualifications:

Licensed as a professional engineer by Ohio State Board or equivalent experience. 12 months experience as Transportation Engineer 2 or in related roles. Valid driver’s license required if travel to project sites is necessary.
