Job description

This role is fully remote and based in York, PA, and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Managing large land development projects, focusing on traffic engineering and planning.
  2. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on traffic impact studies, intersection and traffic signal design, roadway signing, pavement marking plans, and traffic operations analysis.
  3. Obtaining and analyzing PennDOT’s Highway Occupancy Permits and Design Criteria.
  4. Overseeing the preparation or modification of reports, plans, schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs.
  5. Representing the company at municipal meetings, hearings, and PennDOT staff meetings.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code.
  • Experience with land development applications and municipal approvals in Pennsylvania.
