Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Transportation Driver to move residents to and from hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, and other care settings in Kewanee, IL. This on-site role emphasizes safety, customer service, and professional conduct.

You will operate vehicles, ensure resident safety, perform pre/post-trip inspections, complete required paperwork, and support the care team with timely transportation that respects schedules and patient needs.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Driver’s License with DOT required vehicle licensure and physical.
• Strong focus on resident safety and customer service.
• Willingness to meet facility age requirements (25–74).

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to/from activities, appointments, and outings.
• Monitor and ensure resident safety during transport and boarding/de-boarding.
• Maintain vehicle upkeep, inspections, and complete required paperwork.

Job Summary: The Transportation Driver will provide the transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner.Essential Duties:

• Provide a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
• Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times. Monitors resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.
• Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and all required paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
