Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Transportation Driver responsible for transporting patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, and private residences in a safe, courteous manner.

You will maintain the vehicle, complete required paperwork, and uphold safety standards while supporting residents with transportation to activities and appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active Illinois Driver’s License with DOT vehicle licensure and physical.
• Must be between 25 and 74 years old per facility insurance requirements.
• Experience as a bus or van driver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings while maintaining safety standards.
• Ensure safety of residents at all times during transport and while boarding/departing vehicles.
• Perform general upkeep of the vehicle, including inspections, maintenance, and required paperwork.

Job Summary

The Transportation Driver will provide the transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner.

Essential Duties

• Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
• Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times. Monitors resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.
• Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and all required paperwork.
