Job summary

Arcadia Care Aledo is seeking a Transportation Driver to provide safe transport for patients to and from hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, and private residences.

You will ensure resident safety on the vehicle, perform pre-trip inspections, and handle required paperwork while delivering courteous, professional service daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active Illinois Driver’s License, meeting DOT required vehicle licensure and physical.
• Must be between 25 and 74 years old per facility insurance requirements.
• Experience as a bus or van driver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe transportation of residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings.
• Maintains resident safety on the bus during boarding/departure and entry/exit of buildings.
• Performs vehicle upkeep, inspections, maintenance, and completes required paperwork.

Transportation Driver

Job Summary:

The Transportation Driver will provide the transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner.

Essential Duties:

• Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
• Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times. Monitors resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.
• Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and all required paperwork.
