Job summary

Brickyard Healthcare in Evansville, Indiana is seeking a Transportation Driver to move patients to and from the center, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. You will maintain logs, perform basic vehicle upkeep, report hazards promptly, and promote professional conduct with residents, visitors, and regulators.

Required: valid driver's license, acceptable MVR, high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and apply in-service training.
• Must maintain regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate log.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and policy.
• Follow vehicle maintenance guidelines and report malfunctions or accidents.
• Keep vehicle interior and exterior clean.
• Maintain proper forms in vehicles.
• Promote residents' rights and professional conduct.
• Report hazardous conditions or incidents immediately.
• Attend training and orient new staff.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain complete and accurate log
• Operate vehicle in accordance with applicable traffic laws, Company Vehicle Policy, state and federal regulations
• Follow company guidelines for vehicle maintenance and reporting vehicle malfunctions, traffic accidents, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle -- both interior and exterior
• Maintains proper forms in vehicles
• Understand, comply with and promote all rules regarding residents' rights; promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance and attitude
• Immediately report any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents and/or incidents
• Attend and participate in training, educational activities and staff meetings; assist in orientation and training other staff

Qualifications:

• Must have current Driver's License that meets the state's specific requirement and have an acceptable MVR upon hire and annually thereafter
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification
• Must have the ability to understand and apply training, and in-service education
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
