Job summary

Brickyard Healthcare is seeking an Activities Assistant who collaborates with dedicated staff to promote resident satisfaction and happiness, and to foster positive relationships between residents, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the practical application of recreation service programs.
• Must be able to relate positively and cooperatively with residents, families and staff at all levels.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of patient and company information.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Complete required documentation as assigned.
• Contribute to resident care planning preparation.
• Provide individual programming as assigned.
• Maintain recreation department supplies and equipment.
• Work with volunteers as assigned.
• Assist with planning and leadership of special events.
