Job summary

Brickyard Healthcare is seeking a Transportation Driver to move patients to and from care centers. You will follow all traffic laws, maintain logs, and ensure vehicles remain clean and well-maintained.

The role requires CPR certification and a valid driver’s license, with a focus on safety and professional conduct. The position offers flexible scheduling and a strong benefits package, including health plans, education reimbursement, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification is required/maintained.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate logbooks.
• Operate vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company policy.
• Follow guidelines for vehicle maintenance and report malfunctions or accidents.
• Keep vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable.
• Maintain proper forms in vehicles.
• Respect residents’ rights and foster positive relationships with residents and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain complete and accurate log
• Operate vehicle in accordance with applicable traffic laws, Company Vehicle Policy, state and federal regulations
• Follow company guidelines for vehicle maintenance and reporting vehicle malfunctions, traffic accidents, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle -- both interior and exterior
• Maintains proper forms in vehicles
• Understand, comply with and promote all rules regarding residents' rights; promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance and attitude
• Immediately report any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents and/or incidents
• Attend and participate in training, educational activities and staff meetings; assist in orientation and training other staff

Qualifications:

• Must have current Driver's License that meets the state's specific requirement and have an acceptable MVR upon hire and annually thereafter
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification
• Must have the ability to understand and apply training, and in-service education
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
• Must be willing to help at other locations
