Job summary

ENMRSH, Inc. is seeking a bus driver to transport clients to and from day programs on a Wednesday-Sunday schedule with on-call weekends. Candidates must be 21+, hold a REAL ID driver’s license, and pass a background and drug screen.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, plus a valid driving record, are essential. Responsibilities include following routes, safely transporting clients, and juggling tasks calmly in various situations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• REAL ID compliant valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Excellent driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Must read, write, and speak English well.
• Follow driver routes and safely transport ENMRSH clients.

Job description

Shift: Wednesday-Sunday Hours vary from 6am-4pm on weekdays and on call Sat & Sun from 7am-4pm.

Drives an assigned bus route transporting ENMRSH clients to and from day programs. Must demonstrate the following characteristics: good interpersonal skills to interact effectively and professionally with a wide range of people; excellent customer service with all internal and external customers; and be able to adapt to changing work conditions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 21 years of age or older
• Possess a REAL ID compliant valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background screening
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Possess a working telephone
• High School Diploma/GED
• Possess an excellent driving record
• Reliable transportation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English well.
• Must be able to follow driver routes and safely transport clients.
• Coordinate several tasks at once and handle various situations including crisis situations in a calm and professional manner.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, reach, and kneel.
• Use of arms, hands, and fingers.
• Physically lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Walk, stand, and/or sit for at least eight hours per day.
