Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or related field; 7–10 years leadership in transportation.
- 7–10 years transportation experience with at least 7 years supervisory work.
- Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management, and DOT regulations.
- Experience with multiple software systems and proficiency in Excel.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day oversight of the Transportation department.
- Identify new business opportunities and close contracts to increase revenue.
- Lead continuous service level improvements and coordinate across teams.
- Minimize service disruptions by cross-functional collaboration.
- Monitor market trends and leverage knowledge for best practices and new tech.
- Ensure safety programs and compliance with regulations.
