Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher for the 3rd shift at the ROC in Phoenix. You will dispatch Truck Drivers (CDL and Non-CDL) and handle emails and phone calls promptly while maintaining dispatch records.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and safety awareness. You will coordinate with GCNA divisions, order supplies, respond to stores, and provide feedback to Transportation Leaders to improve operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
• One year of customer service or dispatch experience required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Records and maintains files and records of requests, work, charges, inventory, and other dispatch data.
• Coordinates and communicates with GCNA divisions.
• Dispatches drivers safely and efficiently; ensures safety rules and PPE use.
• Reads and responds to emails from stores, providing customer service.
• Determines equipment needs per work orders and coordinates with fleet.
• Provides feedback to Transportation Leaders to improve operations.
