Legacy Trans is hiring a Transportation Coordinator in Salt Lake City. You will plan, dispatch, and manage daily freight operations for the fleet, serving as the main contact for owner operators and ensuring loads are picked up and delivered on time.

You will collaborate with customers, brokers, and internal teams, monitor progress, handle delays, and ensure compliance with company and DOT rules while driving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dispatch, carrier sales, or transportation experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of industry software and TMS platforms is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assign and dispatch loads to owner operators based on availability and equipment.
• Maximize productivity and minimize empty miles while ensuring on-time service.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates; respond to delays and disruptions.
• Coordinate repowers and maintain DOT Hours of Service compliance.
• Support operators with routing, detention, and customer concerns.
