Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
• Experience dispatching and managing drivers preferred.

• Experience in a deadline-driven environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial vehicle regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and retain a designated fleet of drivers.
• Ensure that all drivers are fully compliant with legal requirements.
• Coordinate with planning personnel to obtain loads for fleet and dispatch drivers.
• Manage driver availability to maximize the productivity of fleet.
• Monitor driver performance and conduct.
• Ensure payroll accuracy for assigned drivers.
• Maintain records of driver logs.
• Act as a first point of contact.
