Job summary

Aguirre & Fields, LP is seeking an Engineering Technician with 5-10 years of civil roadway design experience to support design, drafting, and PS&E deliverables in our Sugar Land office. You will work under the Project Engineer to develop construction plans and ensure accuracy and quality.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and Bluebeam, possess Bentley ORD accreditation, and communicate clearly with team members.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of civil engineering design/project experience.
• Experience designing roadways per TxDOT Roadway Design Manual.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
• Bentley Accreditation in OpenRoads Designer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide design support to Project Engineer/Project Manager.
• Support PS&E deliverables, exhibits, sketches, and quantities.
• Apply project design criteria accurately and consistently.
• Use current CADD tools, standards, and workflows.
• Collaborate with project and CADD teams to resolve technical issues.
