Job summary

Aguirre & Fields is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Project Engineer in Sugar Land, TX to lead roadway design efforts with 5–10 years of civil experience. You’ll partner with PMs, office leads, and project teams to deliver on schedule and within budget while focusing on client and staff satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a PE, proficient in ORD and Bluebeam, with strong communication and leadership skills and a background in TxDOT design standards.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of civil engineering design and project experience.
• ABET/EAC-accredited civil engineering program.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Proficient with Bluebeam and OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design tasks for TxDOT, counties, cities, and RMAs.
• Support project teams to deliver quality engineering work.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, priorities, and deliverables.
• Apply broad roadway design knowledge, QC, and client communication.
• Foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
