Job summary

VHB is seeking a civil engineering student for an internship in Atlanta. You will collaborate with staff to advance projects, assist with calculations and reports, and conduct field investigations and data collection.

You will support development of preliminary and final construction plans and perform quantity take-offs, gaining hands-on experience in transportation design. This role emphasizes strong communication, independence, and attention to detail within a hybrid work environment, with

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
• Interest in transportation design and/or traffic engineering.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and interact positively with clients.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VHB staff to advance projects efficiently.
• Assist with engineering calculations, analysis, and report preparation.
