KPFF Seattle’s Transportation Team designs infrastructure that moves people and connects communities across Washington. The Transportation Engineering Designer will contribute to roadways, trails, and transit projects and collaborate with public agencies, transit authorities, and private clients from day one.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management.
• 0-4 years of experience under a licensed professional engineer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
• Passionate about providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of transportation projects, including roadways, trails, and transit facilities.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design documentation under mentorship of engineers.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Build expertise in navigating federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
