Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers seeks a Civil Transportation Engineer to join its Special Projects Division in Seattle or Tacoma, WA. You will be at the heart of downtown, working on a range of heavy civil and industrial infrastructure projects, refining roadway and transportation design on design-build programs.

You will grow in design, project management, and client service while collaborating across disciplines in a hybrid work environment that supports licensure advancement and professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Minimum 4 years of full-time civil/site development experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads design experience is required.
• ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D experience is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Civil Design and Development: apply engineering expertise to diverse projects and lead design/build initiatives.
• Project Leadership: manage tasks, timelines, budgets, and mentor junior staff.
• Client Engagement: foster strong relationships, provide guidance, and ensure client satisfaction.
