KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a Senior Transportation Civil Engineering Prime Project Manager in Washington. Lead transportation projects, oversee client relationships and design teams, and drive quality and on-time delivery across multiple municipalities and transit agencies.

The role emphasizes strong engineering expertise, project leadership, and mentoring junior staff, with a focus on regulatory compliance and budget control in the Washington market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• PE licensed in Washington State.
• 10+ years in civil/transportation engineering with project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D; MicroStation and OpenRoads familiarity.
• Knowledge of Washington codes and permitting processes.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and mentoring of younger staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle management across transportation projects.
• Provide technical oversight of design, calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Manage client relationships, business development, and proposals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and permitting with agencies.
• Mentor and lead project teams to maintain quality and growth.
