Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field; 10 years related engineering/consulting/project management experience required.
• 15 years of experience preferred.
• Experience managing complex transportation design or design-build projects.
• Experience with proposal development, project planning, budget management, scheduling, and client coordination.
• Experience working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage multiple concurrent assignments.
• Strong collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to positively influence others and effectively manage project execution activities.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to clients, leadership, and project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• DBIA certification preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Transportation alternate delivery business initiatives and project goals.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among regional offices and project stakeholders; vet opportunities and Go/No-Go decisions.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through pursuit and project execution activities.
• Assist with business development with project owners and contractor partners; participate in industry events.
• Identify project risks and collaborate to develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop pursuit strategy and support proposal preparation, project interviews, and pursuit planning.
• Develop scope of services for pre-award/pursuit and post-award/design phases.
• Coordinate with leadership on staffing, scheduling, and resource planning; evaluate key staff and subconsultants.
• Manage design efforts for alternate delivery pursuits and active projects.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, deliverables, and performance metrics.
• Provide guidance to project managers, engineers, and design professionals.
• Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and project delivery standards.
• Support diversity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Participate in employee development activities and performance feedback.
