Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Alternate Delivery Design Manager to drive transportation design-build projects across the Midwest and beyond, including Omaha, Nebraska. You will lead pursuit, design, and delivery efforts, partnering with the Alternate Delivery Design Director and TRN leadership to expand project opportunities.

You will mentor project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and support client coordination and safety/compliance standards across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• 15 years of experience preferred in transportation design or design-build projects.
• Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple concurrent assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and project execution for alternate delivery transportation projects.
• Coordinate staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning with senior leadership.
• Mentor project managers and design professionals assigned to projects.
• Support business development and client coordination across regions.
