Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward to lead data governance and definitions across the Transportation Business Group. This embedded leadership role shapes how data is defined, shared, and reused to enable better decisions and project delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in strategic data leadership, with experience coordinating SME networks and driving adoption of data standards across teams. This role is in-office across HDR offices in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• 10+ years of strategic leadership experience focused on growing and leading teams in change management and data.
• 15+ years of experience delivering diverse data-centric solutions and services.

Responsibilities

• Define technical standards and coordinate SME expertise across the Transportation Business Group.
• Develop business-aligned data definitions to support data models, reporting, automation, and AI use cases.
• Promote governance and fluent data use across the Transportation BG and enterprise.
