Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Five years of progressively responsible office experience.
Three years computer experience with mapping applications preferred.
Two years advanced clerical office work.
Extensive knowledge of Volusia County geographical areas.
Valid Florida Driver License or ability to acquire one within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Operate specialized equipment or computer software on an advanced level.
Enter, compile and maintain computer files, data, and information in the designated format and submit in report form.
Collect, record, analyze, and tabulate computer data and document records, making recommendations or predictions based on findings.
Coordinate and monitor work activities as directed; direct resources as authorized.
Develop school bus routes utilizing routing software in accordance with policy.
Monitor bus operations and student ridership for safety and efficiency.
Receive FEFP survey instructions to secure state funding of student ridership and eligibility.
Provide training to District personnel concerning computer applications utilized for Student Transportation Services.
