Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Three (3) years of successful experience in personnel services or management services or related field.
• Demonstrated experience using related Microsoft Office software applications.
• SAP and HR related software experience preferred.
• Incumbent is considered essential personnel during an emergency.

Responsibilities

• Manifest a professional code of ethics and values.
• Respond to internal and external customers in a timely and courteous manner representing OCPS positively.
• Model the routine and effective use of technology in daily work and management tasks.
• Manage all operations within the unit per district priorities and results.
• Oversee transportation business and employee services including e-recruitment and payroll procedures.
• Regularly review payroll reports for overtime and accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll on HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with EEO, Wage & Hour, FMLA, and other regulations.
• Interview, screen, and recruit applicants to fill positions.
• Monitor vacancies and communicate staffing needs to transportation admins.
