Core-Mark, a leading distributor in the convenience retail sector, seeks a Transportation Coordinator to support dispatching, DOT compliance, and data entry. You will maintain driver records, process payroll assistance, and handle routine communications with customers and drivers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months data entry/clerical experience within a warehouse environment.
• Administrative support performing basic math and computer data entry skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of Department of Transportation regulations and Hours of Service.
• 1+ years in transportation environment and interfacing with customers within foodservice industry.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the dispatching of drivers and notifying customers on route changes.
• Answering incoming calls from customers, drivers, and internal departments.
• Maintaining all DOT required files and other reports (vehicle inspection, fuel, and mileage).
• Inputting data into our computer system and generate reports as needed.
• Monitoring documentation for renewals such as drivers, licenses, and medical cards.
• Coordinating aspects of the hiring process; such as pre-employment testing and paperwork.
• Assisting with the processing of driver payroll.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned
