Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to take orders from request to reality in a fast-paced environment. You will support the transportation team by maintaining documents, answering calls, generating reports, and ensuring exceptional service and quality for Core-Mark customers.

Responsibilities include dispatching drivers, advising on route changes, maintaining DOT files, processing driver payroll, and assisting with hiring and onboarding as needed.

Qualifications

• Data entry and clerical tasks in a warehouse setting.
• Basic math and computer data entry skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of Department of Transportation regulations and Hours of Service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispatching drivers and notify customers on route changes.
• Answer incoming calls from customers, drivers, and internal departments.
• Maintain DOT required files and other reports (vehicle inspection, fuel, mileage).
• Input data into system and generate reports as needed.
• Monitor documentation for renewals such as drivers licenses and medical cards.
• Coordinate aspects of the hiring process; such as pre-employment testing and paperwork.
• Assist with processing of driver payroll.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
