Job Summary

Answer and respond to Operations Service Inquiries (OSI) and inbound calls from sales reps and other Medline employees.

Responsibilities

1. Answer OSIs and inbound calls from sales reps and Medline employees.
2. Determine transportation modes for moving products or raw materials between branches, manufacturing facilities, or to customers.
3. Communicate with carriers, operations, sales teams, and occasionally with customers.
4. Participate in department initiatives such as scheduling and inside delivery initiatives.
5. Secure rush carriers and rescues as needed.

Required Experience

1. At least 2 years experience as a Transportation Coordinator or related role.
2. Knowledge of transportation practices.
3. Basic understanding of statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Finance, Business, or related experience.
2. Experience with SAP.
