Reporting to the Director of Vanway, the Transportation Coordinator oversees Vanway colleagues and transportation services, ensuring safe and efficient operations that support community connections and the growth of the Vanway Branch.

Essential Functions

1. Provide safe, well-maintained vehicles.
2. Ensure daily operations meet contractual and service needs.
3. Hire and maintain qualified drivers and monitors.
4. Create and promote a WOW! Magic culture.
5. Maintain positive relationships with internal customers.
6. Act as liaison with HST/MRTA (MART) and other agencies regarding regulations.
7. Manage insurance claims and inquiries related to vehicles.
8. Build external customer relationships to increase revenue and community engagement.
9. Conduct outreach and promote Vanway services.
10. Oversee growth and performance of Vanway colleagues.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Transportation Coordinator manages all Vanway colleagues, including hiring, termination, promotions, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but may be waived with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of transportation and fleet management is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Frequent driving, occasional lifting, and sitting for extended periods are expected. The environment includes indoor office settings and outdoor transportation oversight.
