Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Construction Manager to provide construction inspection oversight on major transportation projects in the Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C. Region, based in Herndon, VA.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in CM/CI or engineering, a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and a PE license. The role offers competitive compensation, ESOP benefits, and a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 10+ years in CM/CI or engineering field.
• BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.
• Experience with local clients in Northern Virginia/DC area is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Market and develop business for transportation construction projects.
• Manage contracts, invoicing, and financial oversight.
• Oversee project QA/QC in the assigned region.
• Maintain and build client relationships.
• Prepare technical and price proposals.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; lead and mentor teams.
• Provide leadership and performance management to drive growth.
• Support design disciplines with constructability input.
