Job Description

Hill International is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project complies with plans and specifications.
  • Proactively alert project management professionals to issues that may arise in the field.
  • Provide solutions to mitigate those problems.
  • Observe field work to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards.
  • Document daily inspection reports and other relevant documentation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year PennDOT experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector 1 (TCI-1) or higher.
  • Possess one of the following certifications: PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification, NECEPT Field Technician Certification, or NICET Level II Certification or higher in Highway Construction. NICET Certifications in Highway Construction are preferred unless other NICET subfields are approved by Central Office.
