Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Transportation Construction Inspector, with opportunities in Charlotte, Asheville, Raleigh, Greensboro, and Wilmington, North Carolina. The role involves performing site inspections, ensuring quality control, and managing asphalt, concrete, earthwork, and other construction materials testing. Daily tasks include inspecting construction sites, conducting material testing, recording observations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and coordinating with construction management teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Roadway and/or Bridge Construction Inspection
• Proficiency in Quality Control practices and techniques
• Knowledge of Asphalt, Concrete, and/or Soils, and their applications in roadway/bridge construction
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with teams
• Good communication skills and the ability to document findings
• Relevant certifications or degrees in Civil Engineering Technology or related fields are preferred
• Experience in DOT transportation infrastructure projects is a plus
