Job summary

ATCS is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) to join our Harrisburg area team. Lead inspections on highways, bridges, environmental, traffic and facilities projects, and document daily progress for the Project Engineer.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in Site Manager and MS Office, able to travel to job sites and interpret contract documents to ensure safe, compliant work. We offer competitive hourly pay, overtime eligibility, and a robust benefits package.

• Experience as transportation construction inspector supervisor or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PennDOT Road & Bridges specs and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents.

ATCS's Construction Services group is growing! We are looking for a qualified Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) to join our talented team in Harrisburg, PA and the surrounding areas.

Duties:

• Serve as Lead Inspector on transportation construction inspections on Highway, Bridges, Environmental, Traffic, and Facilities type projects
• Write daily progress reports
• Oversight of contractor work crews to ensure compliance with contract documents, reading and interpretation of contract documents to verify that safe construction practices are being utilized to produce quality results
• Complete documentation of materials, labor compliance, safety, processing estimates, work orders, and adjustments
• Report on-site activities and daily progress to the Project Engineer via standardized reporting, responsible for calculation and determination of pay quantities

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum experience and certification criteria for PennDOT Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor 1
• Knowledgeable in PennDOT Road & Bridges specifications and standards
• Knowledge of mathematics to include algebra, geometry and trigonometry
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
• Demonstrating ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary (Valid driver's license is required)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Proficient in Site Manager, or other project management software

Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $29.58 to $33.82 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for overtime and an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
