Job summary

ATCS is seeking a qualified Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. The role involves leading inspections on highway, bridge, and environmental projects while ensuring compliance with contract specifications. Candidates must have PennDOT certification, a valid driver's license, and be eligible to work in the U.S.

We offer a competitive pay range of $29.58 to $33.82 per hour, with benefits starting on the first day of the month following employment, including PTO, medical plans, 401K match, and more.

ATCS's Construction Services group is growing!

We are looking for a qualified Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) to join our talented team in Harrisburg, PA and the surrounding areas.

Duties

• Serve as Lead Inspector on transportation construction inspections on Highway, Bridges, Environmental, Traffic, and Facilities type projects
• Write daily progress reports
• Oversight of contractor work crews to ensure compliance with contract documents, reading and interpretation of contract documents to verify that safe construction practices are being utilized to produce quality results
• Complete documentation of materials, labor compliance, safety, processing estimates, work orders, and adjustments
• Report on-site activities and daily progress to the Project Engineer via standardized reporting, responsible for calculation and determination of pay quantities

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum experience and certification criteria for PennDOT Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor 1
• Knowledgeable in PennDOT Road & Bridges specifications and standards
• Knowledge of mathematics to include algebra, geometry and trigonometry
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
• Demonstrating ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary (Valid driver's license is required)
• Valid Drivers’ License
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Proficient in Site Manager, or other project management software

The role is also eligible for overtime and an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
