ATCS's Construction Services group is growing. We are seeking a qualified Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) to join our team in Harrisburg, PA and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include serving as Lead Inspector on transportation construction inspections, writing daily progress reports, and overseeing contractor work to ensure compliance with contract documents and safe practices. Travel to job sites and offices required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of PennDOT Road & Bridges specifications and standards.
• Math skills including algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
• Intermediate MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) knowledge.

ATCS's Construction Services group is growing! We are looking for a qualified Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) to join our talented team in Harrisburg, PA and the surrounding areas.

Duties:

• Serve as Lead Inspector on transportation construction inspections on Highway, Bridges, Environmental, Traffic, and Facilities type projects
• Write daily progress reports
• Oversight of contractor work crews to ensure compliance with contract documents, reading and interpretation of contract documents to verify that safe construction practices are being utilized to produce quality results
• Complete documentation of materials, labor compliance, safety, processing estimates, work orders, and adjustments
• Report on-site activities and daily progress to the Project Engineer via standardized reporting, responsible for calculation and determination of pay quantities

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum experience and certification criteria for PennDOT Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor 1
• Knowledgeable in PennDOT Road & Bridges specifications and standards
• Knowledge of mathematics to include algebra, geometry and trigonometry
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
• Demonstrating ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary (Valid driver's license is required)
• Valid Drivers’ License
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Proficient in Site Manager, or other project management software

We offer a competitive salary range of $29.58 to $33.82 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for overtime and an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
