Job summary

ATCS is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) to join our Harrisburg area team. Lead inspections on highways, bridges, environmental, traffic and facilities projects, and document daily progress for the Project Engineer.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in Site Manager and MS Office, able to travel to job sites and interpret contract documents to ensure safe, compliant work. We offer competitive hourly pay, overtime eligibility, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as transportation construction inspector supervisor or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PennDOT Road & Bridges specs and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Inspector on transportation construction inspections on Highway, Bridges, Environmental, Traffic, and Facilities type projects
• Write daily progress reports
• Oversight of contractor work crews to ensure compliance with contract documents and safe construction practices
• Complete documentation of materials, labor, safety, processing estimates, work orders and adjustments
• Report on-site activities and daily progress to the Project Engineer via standardized reporting and determine pay quantities
