Job summary

Staffmark Group in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Transportation Clerk to support customer service, data entry and transportation records. The role offers $23.50 per hour with 1st shift (8 AM - 4 PM) and 2nd shift (6:30 PM - 3 AM), Monday - Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support and respond to customer inquiries.
• Perform general office administration including data entry, reporting, filing, and record maintenance.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, billing, and collections activities.
• Audit driver logs, trip reports, route documentation, and DOT compliance records.
• Maintain driver files and transportation records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with route book maintenance, driver communication, vacation coverage, and overflow freight coordination.
• Track pallets, reconcile fuel records, and generate operational reports.
• Coordinate with drivers and operations teams to resolve equipment requests and transportation-related issues.
