Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Commercial Claims Account Executive to join our Commercial Transportation team in the Schaumburg, IL area. You will serve as a trusted advocate for clients throughout the claims lifecycle, guiding them through complex processes and partnering with carriers, adjusters, and internal teams to drive favorable outcomes.

In this role, you will leverage commercial insurance expertise to analyze loss trends, develop risk mitigation strategies, and support account retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of commercial insurance claims, risk management, or commercial lines account management experience.
• Commercial transportation, trucking, or fleet claims experience strongly preferred.
• Active Property and Casualty Insurance License required.
• ARM, CPCU, CRM, CIC designations preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary claims advocate and point of contact for assigned commercial transportation clients.
• Manage the full claims lifecycle, including reporting, investigation, monitoring, escalation, and resolution.
• Collaborate with carriers, adjusters, attorneys, medical providers, and third-party administrators to facilitate timely and equitable claims outcomes.
• Analyze claim trends, loss runs, and claims data to identify opportunities for risk reduction and improved claim performance.
• Conduct regular claims review meetings with clients to discuss open claims, loss trends, reserve development, and resolution strategies.
