Parametrix, a 100% employee-owned consulting firm, is seeking a Transportation Civil Engineer I for our Boise, Idaho office. The role supports roadway and multimodal transportation design, with a hybrid schedule requiring 2-3 days in the office for collaboration and mentorship.

Ideal candidates have a BSCE, EIT or the ability to obtain within a year, and experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation. Join a team delivering resilient infrastructure and community-focused projects.

Qualifications

• BSCE in Civil Engineering required or closely related field.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of roadway and multimodal transportation projects for state DOTs and local municipalities.
• Prepare and assist with roadway design elements including horizontal and vertical alignments, typical sections, drainage, traffic control, and ADA-compliant facilities.
• Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to support project schedules, quality control, and client deliverables.
