Job summary
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a Transportation Engineer II for the Union Gap, WA area. You will develop plans, specifications, and estimates for roadway improvements and lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time and in compliance with state standards.

Responsibilities
- Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for design projects.
- Prepare cost estimates and contract provisions including special provisions.
- Operate OpenRoads to create CAD deliverables for plan production.
- Coordinate with technicians and consultants to meet milestone dates.
- Direct staff in preparation of quantities, elevations, maps, and design notes.
- Prepare Basis of Design and Basis of Estimate documents.
