Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare LLC seeks caring caregivers to support clients in their own homes in the New Orleans area and surrounding communities, including Metairie, Gretna, West Bank, Algiers, and Kenner.

Responsibilities include daily living assistance, personal care, mobility support, meal planning, and companionship for clients and their families. This PRN role offers part-time or full-time shifts and a meaningful, hands-on work environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment screening.
• Previous in-home caregiving experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent in their homes.
• Provide personal care assistance.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
• Provide assistance with personal care
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding
• Properly manage household needs
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• You will be working in New Orleans and surrounding areas; Metarie, Gretna, West Bank, Algiers, and Kenner
• This is a PRN position, can be part-time and full-time based on the shifts.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible
• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre employment screening
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities
• Must have a possitive attitue and a sencere desire to help care for others
