Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare LLC is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their own homes across Baton Rouge, including Westside areas. You’ll assist with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, meal prep, and provide companionship.

We offer flexible scheduling (PRN, part-time, or full-time), weekly pay, ongoing training, and a supportive team with detailed client instructions and orientation to help you succeed in this meaningful role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and screenings.
• Previous home caregiving or senior care experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to keep clients independent.
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ROM exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Manage household needs and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and respite for families.
• Work in Baton Rouge westside and surrounding areas.
• PRN position with flexible shifts (part-time or full-time).

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
• Provide assistance with personal care
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding
• Properly manage household needs
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• You will be working in Baton Rouge westside; Port Allen, Brusly, Addis, Plaquemine and surrounding areas.
• This is a PRN position, can be part-time and full-time based on the shifts.
